Hi i am doing my room up and trying to look for the perfect surround paper just for one surround (themes surround behind my bed) i want it black with silver grey pattern on it, i don’t want the patter to small or close together and don’t really want floral pattern (had loads of samples and most are floral) http://homes-designing.com/interior/bathroom/fresh-ideas-for-bathroom/ this would be my saint cover (scroll down its the 3rd picture down, the black and white bathroom) i love that print and if any1 can find one close i’d be so happy or other prints you think would look nice

Have you thought of making a stamp with your own design? Could work out a lot cheaper and it would be unique!
Buy the paper with the pattern you like and paint over it to highlight certain areas and details so it is one-of-a-kind to you.

A while back, I had some problems with my new copy of Sims 2 Apartment Life. One recommendation was to un-install all the games and install them again. I have done this and installed the patches too. It worked fine with the normal Sims 2, then I couldn’t get University to start. I worked through that by installing Nightlife and thank heavens – that worked. I got bored with installing games and wanted to play the game (as I haven’t been healthy to for ages) and made a neighbourhood, family, home and furnished it. (None of my CC was working though) I then exited the game yesterday and this morning (Sat 21st Feb 09) went back onto my computer. I installed Teen Style Stuff, H&M Fashion stuff, IKEA home stuff and Kitchen and Bathroom interior design stuff and Open For Business and then tried going back on my game. Well, Surprise, Surprise – It didn’t work. I then un-installed Teen Style stuff, OFB, H&M and IKEA and started my game. It still didn’t work.
Please help me. I love the Sims 2 and am really annoyed that I can’t get on it.

Basically i am renovating a kitchen, which is a huge room in the cellar, and from that my client would like me to install a kitchen, this will mean everything, except for connecting the gas line. First thing price up materials down to the last screw. On jobs like this were you do not know how long it will take you I place in an hourly rate. But remember an estimate is only a guess. I live near the Wash I get £16.00 per hour. Good luck

I have to redecorate the bedroom and spare room. The rest of the flat is quite neutral with wood floor or light brown carpet and beige walls.
The bathroom is painted a light teal.
What colour shall I go for in the bedrooms? I don’t want to be all beiged out and think the bedrooms could be warmer with a tiny colour. I was thinking of having the bedroom in one colour and then having one surround a different colour to contrast. I am useless when it comes to this sort of thing (hence the beige!).
Your thoughts on colours and floor covering much appreciated.

I am wanting to paint my bathroom and would like some ideas of designs, for example thick stripes/ squares of colour/ huge shapes, etc. I don’t like dull colours and was thinking of greens and blues mainly, with some other bright, bold colours in there (maybe a small amount of red/ orange). I want it to make people state “Wow”, but I still want it looking nice, and not over the top at all. The bath, toilet. sink and tiles are all white for your information and the room is relatively massive . I do have a couple of ideas, but am scared to try them out and waste all that time and paint. I thank you in advance of any ideas and any photos would be fantastic
Just thought I’d state the tiles are only around the bath and a small area around the sink and toilet. There is no need to replace these, they look fine.
Also I am primeval twenties.

I am a landscape gardener, and I am looking for some way to take photos of a clients garden, upload them to my laptop then sit with the client and re-design the photos with input from the client. Possibly a graphics tablet? photoshop? touch sensitive screen ? so I can draw straight onto the digital images. It would be good if there was a package acquirable that provided different options of pre made objects such as fencing, block paving, turf, decking, shrubs which could be put onto the photograph to show what the completed garden would look like. I have seen a kitchen designer use something similar where he took a picture of the clients kitchen, then showed her what it would look like with the new kitchen fitted.

I think they are, not sure about ‘Tenn Style Stuff’ though…I can’t find the exact order on their website.

The Sims 2, unlike The Sims 1, does not care what order you install your expansion and stuff packs in.
The only exception I might make is Mansion and Gardens because it is the last add-on for The Sims 2 and is one of those odd stuff packs that is like an expansion (EP9) and it requires you to use it’s disc to play the game. So I’d install it last.
So my recommendation is to back up your saved game files (My Documents\Ea Games\The Sims 2) by duplicating it to another spot on your harddrive, or to a thumb drive. Then install all the stuff packs except M&G, then Bon Voyage, Freetime, then M&G stuff.
When you are completed you will have to play the game from the M&G disc and icon, no matter what expansion or stuff packs you install afterwards.
